Glaslyn Minor Hockey
Info at 306-342-2144 Glaslyn has an excellent volunteer base committed to making sure that all youth in the community has the opportunity to participate in a minor hockey program. The Recreation Board holds many fundraising events to raise money for rink maintenance and so that registration and skating fees are at a minimum.
Glaslyn Figure Skating Club
Info at 306-342-2144 The figure skating club is very young and energetic with a coach coming on a weekly basis. This is a volunteer run club and is always open to new ideas and members. Skating is usually held twice a week from December to March.
Glaslyn Minor Ball Association
Info at 306-342-2144 Kinsmen Ball Park houses 3 diamonds with dirt infield and 1 all grass diamond. There is a concession building and washrooms. The diamonds are looked after by volunteers and funded by the Recreation Board through fundraising. Glaslyn Minor Ball is part of the Turtle River Baseball League and Girls Softball League. There are also T-Ball and Toss Ball teams for the young ones to get involved.
Glaslyn Heritage Lanes
306-342-2121 Built with community funds and hard work, the Heritage Lanes houses four bowling lanes, an exercise room, pool tables, and large seating area. Glaslyn Heritage Lanes has become a regular gathering place for morning coffee and card games.
Little Loon Regional Park
306-342-2176 (or 306-342-4456 off season) Located 6 km East of Glaslyn on Highway No. 3, Little Loon Regional Park has electrical and non-electrical camping, swimming, boat launch, day picnic area, and a most impressive grass greens golf course. This little park is the gem of the northwest region. Many of the campsites are set-up perfectly for family reunions or group camping.
